My name is Dakota Livesay. I’m the president of the newly formed Living The Code Foundation. I’m also the publisher of Chronicle of the Old West and I have a couple of nationally syndicated radio shows about the history of our American West.

We’ve started Living The Code Foundation because of a belief that the United States is a preeminent country today because of a code of life that was developed by pioneers during the three hundred years of our country’s frontiers. That code stressed ingenuity, creativity, self reliance, cooperation, family and God. And we’re concerned that as we get farther in time from that last frontier…the one we commonly call the Old West…we’re losing those frontier characteristics.

So, we’ve formed Living The Code Foundation to educate people about the character of the frontier people and encourage people today to live by The Code throughout their lives. To get the full story click HERE.
